1/2 cup+ 2 Tablespoons quick-cooking oatmeal
1/4 cup unsweetened applescauce or mashed banana
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt(optional)
1/4 cup honey
2 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup chopped walnuts(optional)

Combine oats and applesauce or banana and let sit for 5 min. Add remaining ing. and stir to mix well. Coat an 8 inch square pan with cooking spray and spread batter evenly in the pan. Bake at 325 degrees for about 22 min. or until just the edges are firm and he center is almost set. Cool to room temperature. Cut into squares and serve. Makes 16 servings
